- Responsible for the development, implementation and-or administration of company or client employee benefit programs including but not limited to healthcare, flexible spending, & retirement (pension planning).
Performs routine assignments in entry level of the professional career band
Typically a graduate, although may have progressed into the role via equivalent business experience that provide knowledge and exposure to fundamental, theories, principles, and concepts
Professional roles will typically require a degree in their specific discipline which may apply to specific positions.
Receives instruction, guidance and direction from others
Limited decision making authority guided by policies, procedures, and business operations protocol
Serves as subject matter expert and lead technical resource over the Retirement White Glove Services administrative team.
Completes Retirement Coordinator assignments and compiles survey feedback results.
Monitors Retirement Coordinator cases, IVR, inbound and outbound calls and emails, and provides feedback and/or training to coordinators as needed.
Performs User Acceptance and Production testing of system, form and letter changes.
Develops, implements, and improves benefits administration programs on behalf of clients.
Manages and develops relationships with clients/prospects and insurers to ensure delivery of effective and efficient service
Reviews benefit calculations performed by others within the team (which may involve the more complex plans or the most important clients of the firm)
Keeps up-to-date with current legislative topics and its application to existing client benefits schemes
Provides advice on the effect of actual or anticipated changes in law, or employee benefit practice.
Provide drafts of basic explanatory literature for the schemes, ie, announcements and booklets, or commenting on drafts produced by others.
Deliver face-to-face presentations, designed to simplify complex benefits issues, to employee groups and encourages benefits take-up
May provide administration advice and guidance to clients, and may manage small sized clients
